Zoey’s Place is an equal-opportunity employer. We’re seeking a combined Forensic Interviewer and Family Advocate to join our team. This position pays $45,000-$50,000 and is salaried and exempt. This position is responsible for providing developmentally and culturally appropriate and legally defensible forensic interviews of child victims of physical/sexual abuse, domestic violence, and neglect. This position is also responsible for victim advocacy support to children and families of children who are suspected of being victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or who have witnessed violent crimes. This position will coordinate services and provide referrals when needed. This role is primarily a grant-funded position. Essential Responsibilities Forensic Interviewer Family Advocacy Education and Experience Requirements Other Requirements Background Checks Employment is contingent on background checks as required by Zoey’s Place’s policies which may include: Drug Test, Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Employment Verification, Education Verification, and Professional References DCS Background Check Level A1 – Will provide & bill direct services under DCS contract. The Community Foundation of Hancock County has graciously awarded $2,037 to Zoey’s Place to help cover the costs of child abuse prevention materials.
Over $5,000 was raised in one day thanks to the generous support of dozens of Hancock County supporters and donors like you. Under clear, beautiful skies hundreds of kids and their families came out to the Hancock County Fairgrounds to enjoy pizza, drinks, face painting, music from MIX 105, bounce houses, rides, and a petting zoo.
Our current space on North Street in Greenfield served us well starting out, but it’s time to improve some significant challenges. We’ve simply outgrown the little gray and brick house.
There’s a lot to do and accomplish in 2024, and you can help support Zoey’s Place as we go.
